Da ist es nun. Das 13. Studioalbum von "The Cure". Und es besteht kein Zweifel, wo The Cure drauf steht, ist auch The Cure drin. So auch bei 4:13 Dream. Nur leider klingt’s hin und wieder wie schon mal dagewesen. Dementsprechend zwiespältig ist die Meinung, die man nach erstem Hören hat.
Obwohl mir "Scream" nicht ganz so gefällt und mich etwas verwirrt zurücklässt, befriedigen mich dafür "Underneath the stars" und "The only one" umso mehr. Und auch den Rest des Albums halte ich für durchaus hörenswert.
"4:13 Dream" ist bestimmt nicht das wichtigste Album, was The Cure jemals rausgebracht haben. Aber wer The Cure mag, wird auch dieses mögen.
